□ 4 hiking courses

You can see many Yakusugi cedars above a 1000 years old on easy hikes. There are 4 courses to choose from - 30 minutes, 50 minutes, 80 minutes and 150 minutes hiking courses. Choose the course that best suits your abilities.

□ Many easy-to-walk paved trails

The 30-minute and 50-minute courses are mostly flat, and paved with wood. The 80-minute and 150-minute courses are steep hiking paths. Please be aware of your physical strength and be suitably equipped.

□ A microcosm of the dynamics of Yakusugi cedar forest

A paradise of Yakusugi cedars, this forest is a microcosm of Yakusugi forest dynamics - fallen trees, regeneration, mergence, and so on.

Caution

Maintenance efforts are taken to preserve the natural status of the forest. Walkers are therefore requested to take the utmost care with regard to their own safety. Watch your head and step to avoid slip and fall accidents. Also, please note that the 80-minute and 150-minute courses are steep hiking paths. Please be aware of your physical strength and be suitably equipped.
