Okonotaki Falls is a dynamic waterfall reknown for the large volume of water flowing over its cliffs.
With a 88m-drop, from throughout Kyushu Okonotaki Falls has been ranked in the Top 100 Best Waterfalls in Japan.
Visitors can approach the basin of the falls all while feeling the mist of the splashing water coming over the cliffs.
Also, it has been said for a long time that, since this water streams outward from between the surrounding rocks into the forest, drinking the water is good for the health.
