Shinonomenosato Ajisai kyo

Shinonomenosato Ajisai Kyo is a vast, 16.5ha/40.8ac garden utilizing the natural landscape of the mountain.

It is said to be the largest of its kind in the country, and over 100,000 flowers of hydrangea in 160 different types beautifully bloom here on the premises around mid June every year.

December brings foliages, turning the entire mountainous region in red and yellow. It makes it a popular scenic location for foliage viewing.

Perfect for spending a relaxing time, the premises is equipped with an exhibition gallery displaying ceramic art works by the owner of the garden and a tea house surving some meals.
