Information on Mt. Kirishima (Mt. Shinmoe) (as of Oct. 17, 2017)

The volcano alert level for Mt. Shinmoe on the Kirishima mountain range has been raised to Level 3 in recent days, and a no-entry zone is imposed on the volcano. 
However, lodging facilities and tourism-related facilities located outside the restriction zone are open as usual.
