Along the banks of the Sendaigawa River, one of Kyushu's big 3 rivers, 10 thousand fireworks are launched during this fireworks display.
A large number of food vendors will be set up near the river creating the old-time atmosphere of a summer festival.
Different than fireworks displays in the city, there are no structures blocking the view, allowing viewers to enjoy the beauty of the whole display from anywhere.
Every year the event is bustling with large crowds, and is expected to be congested.
