Make a hot spring-steamed sand bath just the way you want it (【体験】砂むし温泉 砂のかけあい体験)

Come in a group and relax together by pouring hot spring-steamed sand on each other

Nansatsu Area Hot Steam Sand Bath

Highlight Best 3

 1.  You can adjust the temperature and amount of sand to your liking
 2.  Refresh your mind and body while gazing on a seaside view of Mt. Kaimon to the sound of waves
 3.  The chance to experience a sand bath - available nowhere else in the world

[ What to know for a better experience ]
・ Partial baths (feet only, etc.) available for those who are disabled or not feeling well
・ You can pour more sand on any place that really hurts for focused heating
・ The medical effects of sand baths have been proven to be 3-4 times those of regular hot springs; provides detox effects (enhanced circulation and sweating) and beautifies skin
・ Tamatebako Hot Springs are also on the premises; you can get a discount pass that covers both hot springs
・ The sand before your eyes contains some olivine (the mineral form of peridot), which glitters when light hits it
・ You can buy sweet potates and eggs cooked with hot spring steam

[ Points of note ]
・ You may turn up hot sand shortly after you start digging; check the temperature as you dig (be careful of low-temperature burns)
・ You can use soap and shampoo in your post-sand bath hot spring dip
・ The yukata you will wear during the experience is prone to spreading open; women need to be careful
・ You need a towel (you may bring your own or buy one on site)
