Tenmonkan is the name of the entire downtown area of Kagoshima.
It's lined with many souvenir shops and restaurants, and is packed with tourists day and night.
Tenmonkan is just 7 minutes away from the Chuo Station area by train, or a 20 minute walk.

Travel back in time on this nostalgic street
Originally a canal that at one time fed into Kinko Bay, this street is still called "Meizanbori" (Meizan Canal) even today. You'll find small shops lining this narrow alley that people can barely pass through.
