Located roughly 7 km south of downtown Kanoya at an altitude of roughly 160 m on gently rolling hills, Kirishimagaoka Park boasts colorful flowers throughout the four seasons. The park also offers stunning views that include Kinko Bay and Mt. Kaimon (aka Satsuma Fuji) to the west, Sakurajima to the northwest, and the cityscape of Kanoya to the northeast. You can also take advantage of go-karts, strollers, a campsite, a tea room, a viewing point, large playground equipment, and a disc golf course.
