The Memorial Center tells the history of the Osumi Line, which was once the core of public transportation in the Osumi Peninsula but was discontinued in March 1987.
Located on the former site of Kanoya Station, the Memorial Center displays over 400 items once used on the Osumi Line, including fare tables, signals, and track maintenance tools.
