Ai no Sato, a restaurant in a traditional house with a 170-year history, serves nostalgia-inducing rural dishes made with natural local ingredients.
The most famous dish is nagashi somen where the noodles flow through a channel carved into a rock in water drawn from 100 meters (109 yards) underground.
There are also lodging facilities and bedrock baths available.
※Nagashi somen is available only from May to September
