Access around Yakushima

There are two bus companies in Yakushima: Tanegashima Yakushima Kotsu and Matsubanda Kotsu. Both companies operate sightseeing tour buses as well as local route buses.

Yakushima Sightseeing Tour Bus

Yakushima Sightseeing Bus (Yuran)

Get close to nature and history in Yakushima through the stories of the bus guide (available in Japanese only). It is possible to get off the bus at various points on the course (the fee depends on when you get off).
Yakushima Sightseeing Bus (Yakuzaru)

Enjoy the best of Yakushima on a sightseeing bus. For all courses, a guide or the driver will provide guidance (only available in Japanese). A walk through Yakusugi Land can be enjoyed.
