One of the largest and most popular events in Southern Kyushu. 
The venue, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Kanoya Air Base, will be opened to the public, where many activities and exhibitions are scheduled to take place such as air shows and other ground-based programs.
At the pre-event festival , a concert by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Sasebo Band will be held. The event attracts large numbers of visitors not only from within Kanoya city but also from across the prefecture and other regions.

Directions By Bus：
Approximately 100 minutes by bus from Kagoshima Airport to Kanoya Air Base Mae (in front of Kanoya Air Base).
Approximately 75 minutes by bus from Shibushi Station to Kanoya Air Base Mae.

By Bus and Ferry
Step 1: Approximately 20 minutes by bus from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to Kamoike Port.
Step 2: Approximately 35 minutes by ferry from Kamoike Port to Tarumizu Port.
Step 3: Then approximately 50 minutes by bus to Kanoya Air Base Mae.
