Maeda Strawberry Farm
(前田いちご園)
Enjoy strawberry-related experiences like comparing the flavor of different varieties and making sweets!
Farmers here prioritize flavor over quantity. The strawberries are grown with meticulous soil cultivation, making them large and renowned for their rich, sweet taste.
The strawberries are sold based on their weight. You can choose from various kinds; the strawberries are divided into packs for tasting to allow visitors to compare the different flavors.
You can eat in the dining area after paying. Freshly picked strawberries are also sold directly at the store.
In addition to strawberry picking, there are experiences such as making strawberry daifuku (a kind of traditional confection) and strawberry jam using freshly picked strawberries (advance reservation required, separate fee).
This farm's proximity to Chiran's renowned attractions, including the Peace Museum and the Samurai Residence Complex, makes it an appealing spot to visit while sightseeing.
