Miyama Toyukan is an experience-based recreational facility located in Miyama, Hioki City, known as the birthplace of Satsuma pottery.
You can try your hand at hand-building or throwing your own original pottery or painting on pottery.
Besides such workshops, the facility also exhibits and sells works produced by other potteries and studios in Miyama.
The facility also has pamphlets and maps for you to take, so do drop by on your stroll around the town of Satsuma pottery, Miyama.
